Subject: I was there
What a great show these guys played with HBRSB. This was my first NM show and definitely not the last. I dig thier style and find it super stony.

Eminence Front is a killer cover!

Subject: Wow!
I dl'ed this a while ago and am just finding time to listen. Wow! The boys are hot! Taking on LedZep is intrepid for any band, but New Monsoon pulls it off in great style! Great setlist, great sound--five stars, but only because six isn't an option.

Subject: Nice Show
My first time ever really listening to New Monsoon, and I have to say, they're amazing. I enjoy a lot of the new bands out there now but nothing has ever really caught my ear like this show. I really dug the covers, and was very impressed by their own material. Definitely going to have to check out some more shows by them.

Subject: Source
It's a different rig than the one that sourced the earlier mp3. Both sets of mics were clamped to the same pole, at the left front of the FOH booth.

Subject: Kashmir source
Is the Kashmir here the same as the mp3 that's been floating around over in the HBR community??

No matter I'm pulling it down anyway

Subject: Best New Monsoon Set Ever (in Comic Book Guy voice)
Seriously, the Fillmore was floating during the show last Sat. The covers were unbelievable, I mean c'mon you can't really go wrong with Allman Bro's, the Who, Led Zep and The Band for covers. Not to mention the originals, which were truly pushed to their potential.
Thank you so much, David, for putting this up so fast and recording the show. NEW MONSOON 2006.
Listened to the show...A little to much fuzz and audience noise. However, when the band picks up it doesn't really matter cause the boys sound so damn good.
5 = Show ; 3 and 1/2 = Tape Quality
